Joliet, IL - The Eagles competed in the CCAC Conference outdoor championships over the weekend. 

Aayla-Marie Adams once again established herself as a force in her signature event. 

Adams won the triple jump again as she continues to do so, no matter the setting. Her winning mark in the triple jump was 11.24m. Perhaps, what made it a bit more sweeter was the winning mark came on her final jump of the competition. The second place mark was 11.22m. 

Adams also competed in the long jump where she placed fifth with a 4.90m jump. In addition to the field events, she ran in the 200m race where she narrowly missed the finals finishing in 10th place, and the 100m race where she did reach the finals and placed in seventh. 

Caleya Holmes also reached a final. Her's was in the 200m where she finished in 7th place. Holmes also ran in the 100m, and the 400 m races. In the 400m, she placed in third place with a time of 58.24. 

Senior McKinze Kearfott placed in 12th place in the 800 meter race.
