Eagles Finish Spring Schedule With A Runner-Up Finish
Lisle, IL - The Eagles women's golf team wrapped up their spring with one final round at the Benedictine Invite. The course was a one day event at the St. Andrews Golf and Country Club.
As a team, the Eagles placed second in the event out of 14 teams. Their team score was 333 for the day with the course layout being a par 72, and total yardage of 5,739.
Isabell Burnett led Judson with a 78, which was good for a t-3 finish. It was a fantastic spring for Burnett that saw her win two other events including the CCAC conference individual tournament.
Senior Grace Kidwell finished in a tie for sixth place with a round of 80. Kidwell ends her JU career with several top honors including the CCAC conference player of the year two seasons ago.
This concludes the spring schedule for Judson. But for Burnett, she will have one more competition when she competes at the NAIA National event thanks to her qualifying during the conference tournament.
As a whole, it was quite a year for the women's team that saw them win two events, and finishing in second in three other events.
