Palos Heights, IL - A hard fought effort was not to be for the Eagles Women's Basketball Team on Saturday afternoon. After a first quarter lead over the Trinity Christian Trolls, it was a slow third quarter that proved to be the difference in the contest.
The speedy Madison Carlson led the team with 10 points. Senior Jocelyn Mitchell also played a solid game with 9 points and 6 rebounds. Fellow senior Evelyn Martin also added six boards to tie Mitchell for the team high.
In the third quarter, JU was only able to manage a 2-14 quarter from the floor, which allowed Trinity to pull in front. The Trolls ultimately came away with the victory 54-47 on their home floor.
Judson will host Indiana Northwest inside Lindner on Wednesday night.
