New Albany, IN - Judson Softball traveled to Indiana to take on Indiana University-Southeast, winning the first game 6-4 and falling in game two 6-1.

The Eagels started off game one strong with 5 runs in the top of the first inning, which secured the lead early, as they were able to hold IU-Southeast to 4 runs the remainder of the game. Two Eagles went 2-3 (Mariah Spivey and Lindsay Zdroik); Spivey with one double and two runs scored. Zdroik pitched a complete game giving up 8 hits and 4 runs with 6 strikeouts for the win.

IU-Southeast came back in game two swinging, putting up 6 runs total off 7 hits. Judson had 3 errors which contributed to the loss. The Eagles scored their one run of the game off of a sacrifice fly to score Audra Menges. Two Eagles went 1-3 in the game (Mariah Spivey and Mannon Amelio). Sophie Schomer was given the loss for game two on the mound, giving up 7 hits and 6 runs with 1 strikeout.

The Eagles return to action on Friday at Rochester University.
