Judson Records 33 Runs in Two Games
TUCSON, AZ. - Producing 33 runs in two games, Judson University had their best outing of the season in Arizona besting Mount Marty College, 10-1, and NCAA Division III College of St. Elizabeth, 23-0. Judson is now 5-2 on the season.
Judson combined for nine doubles, four home runs, and one triple in the two games played. Judson also only gave up six hits and recorded their first shut out of the season.

Judson scored eight runs in the first two innings on their way to a 10-1 win over Mount Marty. The big inning came in the second with six runs. Liz Jacobson and Dana Dimiceli each had two RBI for Judson. Dana Dimiceli led the team in hits as she went 2-of-3. Adding one RBI was Nicole Dimiceli and Victoria Perez. Perez also went 2-of-3 while Carrie Sensor was 2-of-4.
Alyssa Cook improved to 2-0 on the year as she went four innings and recorded four strikeouts. Victoria Perez finished the final inning and had two strikeouts.
Recording their first shutout of the season, Judson scored 12 runs in the third inning to blow the game wide open. Judson was up 3-0 after the second inning and then unloaded for 12 runs to take a 15-0 lead. They then scored five in the fourth and three in the fifth for their 23 runs.
Judson hit seven doubles on the day and three home runs. Sensor, Jacobson, and Samantha Gladen each had two doubles while Nicole Dimiceli smacked two home runs. Danielle Curylo hit her first home run of the season, too, as Nicole Dimiceli had the other double. Curylo led the team with six RBI.
Overall in hitting, Curylo went 3-of-4 while Gladen led the team in hits with a 4-of-4 performance. Also providing three hits were Nicole Dimiceli, Jacobson, and Tricia Lakotish.
Jacobson also went four innings for the win and only allowed one hit with nine strikeouts and no walks. Virginia McAndrews finished the final inning and also recorded three strikeouts with one hit.
