Joliet, IL - The Eagles competed in the CCAC Conference outdoor championships over the weekend. 

Freshmen Edward Young finished in third place in the 100 meters final with a 10.81 time. He also finished in second place in the 200m with a 21.82 time. 

Young was also a part of the team that finished in third place in the 4 x 100 relay. Also on the team was Elijah Nixon, Ian Wiggan, and Wendell Singleton. In the race, their time was a 42.60, which is a new program best for the event. 

Gabe Laval reached the finals in the 400 meters and came away with an 8th place finish. 

Chase Porsche placed in sixth place in the 5000 meters with a 15:40.71. That is the third best program time in the event. Porsche has many long distance bests across the school's indoor and outdoor rankings. His time in the 10,000 meters race, a 32:05.01 got him on the medal stand for the event, and also beat his personal record for that distance. 

In the Javelin event, Danny Troncoso finished in fourth place with a throw of 49.37m.
