Bourbonnais, IL - Over the weekend, the Eagles competed at the indoor CCAC conference championships. It was their final indoor meet of the season before they get outside and fly. The races took place at the Olivet Nazarene Student Rec Center. 

Building off of a solid winter, Edward Young reached the finals in the 60 meters and placed 7th with a time of 7.04. Ian Wiggan narrowly missed the finals finishing in 10th. 

One of the many JU freshmen, Machi Barr reached the finals in the 400 meters and finished in 8th place with a time of 52.10. 

In the 800 meters, talented junior David Peterson also came away with an 8th place finish with a time of 2:03.32. 

Senior Chase Porsche was busy as he ran in three of the longer races. He placed in 10th in the men's mile, 8th in the 3000 meters race, and 11th in the 5000 meters. 

In the 4 x 400 relay, the team of Danny Troncoso, David Peterson, Gabe Laval, and Machi Barr finished in 5th place. 

The Eagles will now regroup and begin flight in the outdoor season in a few weeks time.
