Eagles See Success In Second Meet
Kenosha, WI - After getting their feet wet the day before at the Cougar Open, the Eagles utilized that preparation to post successful marks at the Carthage Forever Red Classic.
Edward Young reached the finals in the 55 meters, and had a final heat time of 6.65 seconds.
Machi Barr was the top Eagles in the 200 meters race with a time of 24.01. Barr was back at it in the 300 meter race, and finished with a time of 37.43 which was good for third place. Gabe Laval placed sixth in the same race with a time of 38.06. Laval was also fifth in the 400 meter event.
David Peterson won the 800 meter race with a time of 1:58.60. Another veteran runner, Chase Porsche placed in fourth in the mile run with a time of 4:39.19.
With just a split squad traveling, Judson still was able to accumulate 23 team points, with many good showings on their first weekend of indoor competition. It should only bode well for the Eagles once meets really heat up after winter break.
