Sheron Continues Great Spring At CCAC Meet
Joliet, IL - Freshmen Trey Sheron has had a fantastic spring for the Eagles. His times in the 100m and 200m races continue to dazzle. In Joliet, at the CCAC Conference Outdoor Championships, Trey represented him well once again.
Trey was the top performer on the men's side for JU. In the 100m prelims, he placed second with a time of 10.64. In the 100m finals, he placed 2nd again with his time clocking in at 10.48. That is once again the new benchmark for the school.
In the 200m event, Trey was second in the prelims once again with a time of 21.23. In the finals, it was another podium finish as he placed third with a time of 20.94. Once again, he lowered the school's fastest time in the event.
With each meet, Trey continues to get faster and faster with his times. For his great performances, Trey was named CCAC All-Conference.
Wendell Singleton was ninth in the long jump event with a top mark of 6.24m.
On the men's side, Sheron, Singleton, and Chase Porsche all qualified for the NCCAA Championships.
