- Only indoor meet was Carthage with a throw of 26'7 in the shot put
- Participated in the javelin, discus, and shot put
- Top javelin throw was 97'7" at the University of Chicago
- Best shot put throw was at North Park with at 28'4"
- Discus throw of 70'0" was best throw of year at North Park
- Was 17th at CCAC Championships in shot put and 18th in discus

Graduated from Pekin Community High School in 2009…earned one letter in cross country for Coach Damotte…was soccer manager for two seasons…member of the Latin Club for two years…was a Youth for Christ student leader.

Son of David and Judy Cooksey…born on December 26, 1990… is majoring in architecture…enjoys playing video games, running, and hanging out with friends…likes to eat fettuccine alfredo, steak, and pizza…cheers for A.C. Milan, the Los Angeles Lakers, and St. Louis Cardinals…vacations in Gulf Shores, Alabama…most prized possession is his guitar.
