Palos Heights, IL - The Eagles traveled to Trinity Christian for their first conference match of the season. In a game that did not feature a ton of scoring, still had a lot of good defensive action.
The first half only saw seven combined shots, with one by the Eagles as being credited as on goal.
The second half saw more of the same with a stalemate looking eminent.
But in a flash, in the 82nd minute, off of a throw in, sophomore Noel Rodriguez was able to break through and get a goal on the scoreboard. It is his first goal of the season.
That goal was the lone shot on goal in the second half.
Judson's defense, and goalie Ivan Dominguez held the Trolls to just nine total shots, and zero as being declared as shots on goal.
With the 1-0 win, the Eagles start 1-0 in conference play, and 2-4-2 overall.
On Saturday, the Eagles will be back home against Indiana Northwest. The game will take place at 2:30pm at Dawson Field, and will be Judson's Homecoming match.
