Eagles Score Well At Bethel Invite
Plymouth, IN - On Monday and Tuesday, the Eagles competed in the Bethel Invite at Pretty Lake Golf Course. This was a three round, 54-hole event over two days.
As a team, Judson medaled in third place out of nine teams. JU's team scores were 304, 304, and 299.
The Eagles final round score of 299 was the low score for the round, and it was the fifth lowest team score in the tournament.
Individually, the Eagles talented group placed two golfers in the top five. Riley Coakley finished in fourth place, and Noah McKay finished tied for fifth place. On the men's side, 48 golfers competed.
Coakley finished even par for the tournament with scores of 72, 75, 69. The final round score was three under par for the day, and featured in impressive seven birdies on the scorecard.
McKay finished five over par for the tournament with scores of 77, 74, and 70. He closed well with a final round of two under par, and also carding seven birdies.
The men's team will next be in action at the NCCAA Regional Tournament. Judson is the declared host of the regional event as declared by the NCCAA. The Eagles will look to qualify for the NCCAA National tournament held down in Florida.
