Eagles Soar Toward A Top 25 Finish In Big Field
Addison, IL - This past weekend the Judson Eagles competed at the Kegel/ ISBPA Hammer Collegiate Classic in Addison, IL
On the Men's Varsity side this team was able to come away with a top 25 finish. On Saturday, this team had their best performance of the season averaging 202 as a team with high games of 1054 and 1079, respectively. This team is just scratching the surface of their potential and they seem to be hitting their stride at the right time with post season looming ahead.
Freshman Standout Brayland Carpenter had an outstanding breakout performance averaging 229 on the day with games of 269, 244, 207, 227, and 194 and finishing 9th overall individually. Brayland was also 85% on single pins and an outstanding 82% on multipins while striking 49% of the time on the weekend!
Sophomore Toby Wamsley came off the bench and gave us a big lift with games of 207, 200, and 229 and an outstanding average of 212 on the day. Toby was also 91% on single pins and 75% on multipins while striking 45% of the time on the weekend. Senior Eric Roberts had games of 227, 208, and 225 to average 202 on the day. Eric was also 73% on multipins and struck 52% of the time on the weekend.
Freshman standout Carson Reid had games of 212 and 213 and was solid averaging 192 on the day. Carson was also 78% on multipins and struck 43% of the time on the weekend. Freshman Jeremy Gasca had a high game of 214 and averaged 190 on the day. Jeremy was also an outstanding 95% on single pins and 94% on multipins on the weekend. Sophomore Woodley Dangerfield averaged 180 on the day. Woodley was also 91% on single pins and 82% on multipins pins and struck 49% of the time on the weekend.
Sophomore Noah Moreno and freshman De'Vyn Franklin wer 100% on all spares they attempted on the weekend going 15 for 15! On Sunday, the team had Baker games of 213, 204, 203, and 225 to average 183 in the baker portion of the event.
On the Men's JV the came away with a 2nd place finish. After being sidelined with multiple injuries Freshman Standout Aidan Lee made his Eagle debut in amazing fashion as he led this team on Saturday with games of 233, 214, 206, 185, and 217 to average 211 on the day! Aidan was also 85% on single pins and 86% on multipins while striking 43% of the time on the weekend.
Senior Adan Cabezudo had a high game of 211 and averaged 186 on the day and he struck 40% of the time on the weekend. Sophomore Aiden Schwichow had a high game of 221 and averaged 186 on the day. Aiden was also 90% on single pins and 65% on multipins while striking 50% of the time on the weekend. Senior Parker Morris had a high game of 217 and averaged 186 on the day. Parker was also and outstanding 94% on single pins and struck 42% of the time on the weekend.
Senior Connor Richmond had a high game of 202 and averaged 177 on the day and struck 40% of the time on the weekend. Sophomore Jeremy Martinez averaged 162 on the day and was 88% on single pins and outstanding 82% on multipins on the weekend. Freshman Matt Fishman averaged 160 on the day and was 65% on multipins and struck 40% of the time on the weekend.
This team had high games of 965 and 963 on Saturday. On Sunday in Baker competition this team had high games of 244, 216, 200, 234, finished with 223 to average 184 in Baker portion of the event.
