Eagles Boil Up Some Top Finishes At Boilermaker
Lafayette, IN - This past weekend the Judson Eagles competed at the Boilermaker Classic and Boilermaker Baker Shootout tournaments in Lafayette, IN.
On the Men's Varsity side this team continues to grow as a squad as they had a 2 top 10 finishes. On day 1 Senior Eric Roberts was 90% on single pins, Freshman Jeremy Gasca was 82% on single pins and struck 46% of the time.
Sophomore Woodley Dangerfield was a fantastic 92% on single pins, Freshman Carson Reid was 67% on multipins and struck 40% of the time, Sophomore Noah Moreno was 88% on single pins and 67% on multipins, and Freshman standout Kaelexx Oats making his varsity debut went 82% in single pins and 69% on mulltipins.
On day 2, Eric Roberts was 93% on single pins, Carson Reid was 86% on single pins and struck a fantastic 52% of the time on the day, Woodley Dangerfield was 82% on multipins and struck 41% of the time, Noah Moreno was 65% on multipins, Kaelexx Oats was 80% on single pins and 72% on multipins, and Jeremy Gasca struck 46% of the time for the event.
On the Men's JV1 side they were able to have a 2nd place finish on Saturday and a top 10 finish on Sunday.
On day 1 Sophomore Toby Wamsley was a fantastic 91% on single pins and struck 45% of the time. Freshman standout leader Brayland Carpenter was an amazing 94% on single pins and 73% on multipins and average 190 on the day. Senior Parker Morris was 89% on single pins, Freshman standout Matt Fishman was 82% on single pins and 72% on multipins while striking 54% of the time.
Sophomore Jeremy Martinez was 76% on multipins, and Senior Adan Cabezudo struck 42% of the time on the day. On day 2 at the Baker Brayland Carpenter led the way with an amazing 100% on single pins while striking 48% of the time and an overall fill percentage of 85%.
Freshman Standout De'Vyn Franklin was 84% on single pins and 73% on multipins, Sophomore Toby Wamsley struck 40% on the day, Senior Parker Morris was 70% on single pins, and Freshman Zach Poling struck a fantastic 50% of the time on the day.
On the Men's JV2 side they were able to come away with 2 top 10 finishes. This team was led by Sophomore Aiden Schwichow who finished 2nd individually for the 2nd All-tournament team of his career. Aiden averaged 215.6 on the day and was a fantastic 10/10 on single pins for 100% and 84% on multipins as well as he struck 59% of the time on the day.
Senior Connor Richmond was 88% on single pins, Freshman De'Vyn Franklin struck 40% on the day, Freshman Kadin Horton was 80% on single pins and 61% on multipins, Freshman Zach Poling struck 36% of the time on the day. On day 2 for the Baker Shootout Senior Adan Cabezudo was 85% on single pins and 77% on single pins, Kadin Horton was 70% on single pins, Connor Richmond was 100% on single pins and struck 44% of the time.
Jeremy Martinez was 78% on single pins and 70% on multipins, Matt Fishman was 84% on single pins and 73% on multipins while striking 51% of the time on the day, and Aiden Schwichow was 82% on single pins and 60% on multipins while striking 46% of the time on the day
To finish up the first half of the season we will be at the Warhawk Open in Addison, Il on Decemeber 6-7!
