Bio
Ben Wallace is the defensive backs coach here at Judson University. He brings a diverse background shaped by athletics, education, and military service. Wallace is a native of Chicago, Illinois.
Prior to joining Judson football, Wallace coaches the running backs, wide receivers, and kick/punt returners at Central Lakes College. During his time at Central Lakes, Wallace coached two RBs who earned first and second team All-Conference honors, along with two receivers who earned first and second team All-Conference recognition. Before his collegiate coaching career, Wallace served as a football skills trainer at GRIT Fitness, working with athletes on position-specific skill development.
Wallace was a three-sport athlete in college, competing in football, wrestling, and track. He has college playing experience on both sides of the ball; running back, defensive back, and linebacker.
Academically, Wallace earned bachelor's degrees in business and sports management from Westminster College. He later completed a master's degree in organizational leadership from William Woods University. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in education.
In addition to his coaching and academic background, Wallace served six years in the United States Marine Corps, earning the rank of sergeant. His military service plays a significant role in shaping his leadership style and expectations.
Wallace is the father of two daughters, Londyne and Peyton
