Kevin Flores Named NAIA All-American
Elgin, IL - On Thursday afternoon the 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NAIA All-America Teams were announced, and the Judson Eagles were represented in grand fashion.
The banner season and career of outfielder Kevin Flores received the cherry on top this afternoon as he was named a Third Team NAIA All-American.
The American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings Sporting Goods, in conjunction with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), announce the 2026 NAIA All-America teams. Selections were made by members of the ABCA and the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association All-America Committee.
This season, Flores was named the CCAC Conference Player of the Year, and help lead the Eagles to a runner-up finish at the NCCAA World Series.
Flores led the Eagles in several categories, and led the conference in ten offensive categories.
His final season line includes a .376 batting average, 76 hits, seven home runs, and 50 RBI's.
Flores ends a two-year career in a Judson uniform with about as good of a resume as you can draw up. Last year, he added a Gold Glove to his list of accomplishments. His two-year numbers include 100 RBI's, 14 home runs, a .362 batting average, and 112 runs.
More awards could be in store for the Eagles as the ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Teams across all divisions will be announced on June 17, followed by the ABCA/Rawlings National Pitchers and Position Players of the Year on June 22.
The ABCA All-America Team was first recognized in 1949 and now spans nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II, and III; NAIA; NJCAA Divisions I, II, and III; Pacific Association Division; and high school. The ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Teams were introduced in 2007.
Checking just about every box you can think of both individually, and with the team, we congratulate Kevin on a tremendous accomplishment.
