Jodie (Baker) Sutton, Class of 2002, was a four-time letter winner for both basketball and softball and she is a member of the Judson Hall of Fame Class of 2013.
In softball, Sutton was a four-time All-CCAC player as well as a four-time All-NCCAA Region standout. In 2000, she set the single-season record for stolen bases with 37. She is the program leader in career triples (12) and stolen bases (98) and is in the Top 10 in five other categories – batting average (4th), hits (5th), runs scored (5th), at-bats (7th) and doubles (8th). She was a career .376 hitter, only struck out 14 times in 431 plate appearances and had a .918 fielding percentage. She was also recognized as a NCCAA and NAIA Scholar Athlete her senior year.
Sutton was a member of Judson's 1998-1999 NAIA Elite Eight women's basketball team that finished a program best 25-9 for the season. She also played on two NAIA Sweet 16 teams and three CCAC championship squads. She still ranks first in program history in games played with 132.
