Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Add Nine Athletes
ELGIN, Ill. – Heading into his second full season of women’s cross country and track & field at Judson University, Joel Cotton has signed nine athletes for the 2011-12 season. Five of the nine new athletes will run cross country. These nine athletes bring a winning spirit from their accolades won in high school and will add to the building of the new program.
Cotton says, “This year's incoming recruits will make an immediate impact on our program. Many of them have the experience of competing at the Illinois High School State Championships in cross country or track, which is a great accomplishment. I am even more excited about how each of these individuals will be a great fit in the Judson community as they continue their education."
