Landslide Victory For Judson in CCAC Action Women's Soccer - Wed, Oct. 15, 2014

Bridgeview, IL (Wednesday, Oct. 15) – It has been eight days since the Eagles last played and the break seemed to do them well. Wednesday night may have been gloomy but looked bright for the Eagles in their 7-0 victory over Roosevelt University. Judson ousted the 4-8-0, 1-4-0 CCAC Lakers with much ease and improved to 5-2-4, 2-1-3 overall.

Bridgeview, IL (Tuesday, Oct. 14) – On a cold rainy day in Chicago the men's soccer team traveled to the Toyota Park Training fields to take on Roosevelt University on Tuesday night. The turf proved to be a huge home field advantage for the Lakers as they defeated Judson 4-1 en route to their 10th straight win. Judson is now 9-3-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the CCAC.

Elgin, IL (Tuesday, Oct. 14) – The Lady Eagles find themselves in unfamiliar territory. After completing their ninth game in conference Tuesday night, Judson now stands atop the North Division in the CCAC and looks to make a run for the conference title. Despite the breakthrough season, this team knows they deserve to be there and nothing seems "unfamiliar" about their position. The Eagles took a big game from Cardinal Stritch (WI) and now look to make their run in this second half of conference play. Already having beat St. Francis (IL) (8-2 CCAC) the challenge will be for Judson to not beat themselves. This team is strong and intimidating, mixed with a cool, calm and collective swag that combines for a deadly blend that keeps this squad rolling.

Elgin, IL – The men's soccer team gotten a much needed break from conference action, but that has not stopped them from continuing to receiving conference honors. The CCAC announced Tuesday morning the top players of the week for outstanding play in specific positions for soccer. With no surprise, for the second straight week Walter Lopez earned the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
