Elgin, IL – Women's soccer followed the men in action against Calumet College on Saturday, October 4th. Luckily for the women the rain seemed to subside and the sun even seemed to peek through for a little relief from the cold. One thing that did not change was the Eagles' ability to control the game early and keep the pressure on the defense as Judson was able to get their first victory in conference.
Elgin, IL – The Lady Eagles continued soccer action on Wednesday evening as they faced off against Saint Xavier (IL). The theme of the Eagles' season seems to be that there is just not enough time in regulation to decide a winner. Judson coming into this game still has not found a win in conference and holds a 3-2-2 record. They faced a SXU team with a similar record also looking to advance in the conference.
Bourbonnais, IL – Women's soccer followed after the men's team on Saturday, September 27th as they took on Olivet Nazarene in continued CCAC weekend action. The Eagles, still waiting for their first win in conference looked to get ahead with a strong schedule to come.
Elgin, IL – On the site of Judson University, the Lady Eagles face one of their toughest opponents to date. The Trojans from Trinity International came on to Dawson Field recently receiving the honor of being ranked 22nd in the nation in the latest NAIA poll. Judson, also receiving votes, looked to use the home field advantage as both teams looked to start off CCAC action with a win. Both teams much to prove and regulation time was not enough in this double overtime thriller.
Fort Wayne, IN – On a cool Fall evening the Lady Eagles traveled to Fort Wayne to take on the Lady Cougars from the University of Saint Francis (IN). Judson (2-1-1) and USF (5-1-1) quickly turned this non-conference match-up into a fast paced, hard fought battle. Judson was coming off of a nine-day rest and after their loss of over a week ago, the Lady Eagles used all that rest to their advantage in this double overtime thriller.
Springfield, IL – Some days you are the bug and some days you are the windshield, and on Tuesday, September 9 the women's soccer team seemed to be the bug bouncing off the windshield. In their fourth match of the season the Eagles faced Illinois-Springfield in a non-conference match-up. The windshield seemed to deflect every effort of the Eagles as they were held to their first shutout and loss of the season.
