Gary, IN – The Eagles finished up their road series on Thursday, October 9th against Indiana University-Northwest in Gary Indiana. Judson had just come off a tough conference loss to Saint Xavier and looked to get back in the swing of things in a non-conference match-up. The Eagles proved to have no trouble handling the 3-21 Redhawks en route to a three set 25-9, 25-12, 25-22 victory.
Chicago, IL – Judson faced a tough battle in their fourth road game since September 30th against Saint Xavier on October 7th. The Eagles to this point boasted a 6-1 CCAC record and swept weekend competition in the CCAC Crossover just two days before. Tuesday night proved to be more of a bump in the road as the Eagles dropped just their second game in conference, now 6-2 in CCAC, 14-10 overall.
Chicago, IL – The Lady Eagles traveled back to Saint Xavier to finish up the CCAC Crossover weekend series on Saturday, October 4th. Judson had just come off a four set match win over Indiana University-South Bend on Friday night and looked towards an important two game series against Purdue-North Central (IN) and St. Francis (IL). The Eagles are looking to make a statement in conference play and were able to do so Saturday.
Chicago, IL – Judson volleyball continued action today at the CCAC Crossover hosted by Saint Xavier University. Tonight's match against Indiana University-South Bend was the first in a three game series over this weekend, October 3rd-4th. This series is a good challenge for the Eagles as it also starts their five game road stretch in conference. Judson has been tested earlier in the season on the road and the experience gained proved to propel the Eagles to yet another victory.
Elgin, IL – The Lady Eagles took to action again as they faced Trinity International in Tuesday night CCAC competition. After a long and hard road trip, the Eagles have found comfort in being back at home. Just their third home game this season, Judson knows how to defend their own turf. Despite a 11-9 overall record the Eagles look to control conference play, and they seem to have found their groove at the right time.
Huntington, IN – Weekend action brought the volleyball team to yet another round robin play, this time in Huntington Indiana to face both Asbury University and Huntington University. The end to this thirteen game road trip has been a test for the Eagles and they can look to learn many good lessons from the challenging stretch. To say the Eagles are eager to get back home is an understatement, but it is much needed. The trip ends the first half of the season and the second half looks promising as Judson has kept many close games within reach of victory.
