Elgin, Ill. – With the new season and new team forming for the 2008-09 athletic year, Judson University head men's basketball coach Tony Tompkins has announced that Jonathan Kash has signed to play for the Eagles. Kash is coming to Judson after two years at Spoon River College and joins fellow teammate Nate McNeely.
Kash, originally from Scheller, Illinois, played in 25 games for Spoon River under head coach Marcus Floyd this past season. He had season highs of 13 points vs. Illinois Central College and nine rebounds vs. Southeastern Community College in the 2007-08 season. He was also named to the Dean's List at Spoon River.

Elgin, Ill.- Becoming the first Judson University men's basketball player to be named to the NAIA All-American Third-Team is junior Dewayne Robinson (Memphis, Tenn.). Robinson is the fourth Judson men's basketball player to earn NAIA All-American status. He was also named to the NCCAA All-American First-Team and is the second season in a row to be named a NCCAA All-American.

Elgin, Ill. – Signing two more top recruits for the Judson University men's basketball program, head coach Tony Tompkins has signed Nathan McNeely (Monmouth, Ill.) and Josh Edwards (Mapleton, Ill.). Both athletes have had successful high school careers.
