Graduated from Black River High School in 2008…lettered four years for Eric Yetter in both cross country and track…two-time Ohio Regional qualifier…won the PAC Championship and named conference MVP…was named "Player of the Week" by both the Ashland Gazette and the Elyria Chronicle…given Ashland Gazette All-Area first-team in senior season…two-time Medina Gazette All-Area honorable mention…as a junior was Ashland Gazette All-Area second-team…helped cross country team to the PAC Championship and were District runners-up…in track was the conference champion in the 3200 meter run…named Medina Gazette All-Area honorable mention and Ashland Gazette All-Area second-team as a junior for track…ran a personal best 17:20 in three-mile…member of the National Honor Society and a four-time member of the All-Academic team.
