Graduated from South Ripley High School in 2008…lettered four years in basketball and baseball…named the team MVP and given the team rebound award…averaged 10.5 points per game as a junior…in junior season, team played in Sectional Championship game…named to All-Sectional team and Ripley County Tournament team…member of the Varsity Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Math Club…awarded honor roll all four years in high school.

Played for the Southern Indiana Sharks under John Riley…team was the Adidas Super 64 16U runner-up tournament in Las Vegas…in 2006 and 2007, team finished second at the Indiana State Tournament.
