Assistant Coach
Tito Cevallos enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Judson women's soccer team and is the brother of current interim head women's soccer coach and assistant men's soccer coach Diego Cevallos.
He will also help Steve Burke and the men's soccer team as an assistant coach.
Last season, while coaching the goal keepers for the Judson men's soccer team, Cevallos coached Neil Thompson who led the CCAC in goals against average at 0.99 and was second in saves per game with 4.67. Thompson finished the year as an All-CCAC First-Team selection and was twice the CCAC and NAIA Region VII Player of the Week.
Prior to coaching in the 2007 season, Cevallos finished his playing eligibility in 2006 at Judson. He played in six matches in goal as he helped the Eagles to one of their finest seasons, ever. In those six matches, he played a total of 151:25 minutes and recorded six saves while not allowing any goals. In a 3-0 win over Olivet Nazarene, he had a career-high three saves. Against Calumet, he played 82 of the 90 minutes in a 7-0 shutout. In all six matches, Judson recorded shut outs. He transferred to Judson from Rockford College.
Cevallas is working on finishing up his degree at Judson in music and is on schedule to graduate in May 2009. In his time at Judson, he has led worship at chapels and been a part of chapel worship teams. He has a passion for music and worship as he also leads worship at his home church in Rockford.
He is a 1997 graduate of Rockford East High School where he also performed in musicals and in choir. In his senior year, he started his soccer coaching career when he received his first job as an assistant boy's coach at Rockford Auburn High School.
Tito is the son of Tito and Lupita Cevallos and loves spending time with his family. He also enjoys Tae Kwondo and playing with his dog.
