Becoming a student coach after a career as a Judson player, Neubauer enters his first season as a student assistant coach. He finished his two-year career at Judson with 85 strikeouts and a 7-7 record. Last year, he was named to the All-CCAC First-Team as a pitcher, was second in the CCAC in individual pitching, and fifth in strikeouts. He finished with an overall ERA of 3.19 and had a 2.49 ERA in the CCAC. He also recorded 48 strikeouts and a 6-4 record. Against Ashford, he had a career-high nine strikeouts. His six wins in a season is tied for sixth all-time for wins in a season.

As a junior, he led the team with 12 pitching appearances which included five starts. He earned a 2-1 victory against Indiana-Northwest after pitching a complete seven-inning game and also threw a complete games against SCAD and Trinity International.

Before coming to Judson, Neubauer played two seasons at Elgin Community College. In those two seasons, he helped ECC to two NJCAA Regional Championships and to two NJCAA World Series appearances.

He is a 2003 graduate of Dundee-Crown High School where he was an All-Area selection. He is the sone of Rodney Neubauer and is finishing up his degree in secondary education.
