Played for the Illinois Lady Lightning under Tim Bimmerlee…made the Midwest Challenge and Octoberfest All-Star teams.

Graduated from Ottawa Township High School in 2010…lettered four years in basketball for coach Mike Cooper…three-time All-Conference…made All-Conference first-team as a junior and senior…All-Conference second-team in sophomore year…helped team to two IHSA Regional Championships in 2007-08 and 2008-09…team won five different holiday tournaments…team ranked as high as #19 in Illinois in 2008-09 season…won 20 straight games in 2008-09 season including going 10-0 in conference…led team in rebounding and blocked shots three straight years…for career finished second all-time in blocks and third in rebounding…all-time program leader in offensive rebounds…given Babe Ruth All-Around Athlete award…made two different all-Classic teams…earned NCIC All-Academic award…also lettered in tennis, volleyball, and softball…voted Student Council President…member of Prom Committee, DoChange Student Mentors, Fine Arts Club, and Key Club…member of the National Honor Society.

Daughter of Jon and Valarie Ragsdale…born on February 27, 1992…is majoring in sports administration…likes playing basketball and tennis and scrapbooking…likes to eat Jimmy Johns and peanut butter…cheers for the L.A. Lakers and Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks…Kobe Bryant is her favorite athlete…favorite sports moment came in junior season when she hit the game winning free throw vs. conference rival Geneseo Maple Leafs with no time left on the clock to win the conference championship…her parents are the most influential people in her life…has met women's basketball coach Pat Summit.
