New coach, New Season
Jill Pearce entered her first year as the the new head coach and improved the overall record by one but made many strides in the CCAC. Judson went from being 2-8 in 2008 to 4-6 in 2009 in the CCAC. Judson had a chance to be 6-4 but fell to Cardinal Stritch and St. Xavier in close five-game sets.
 

Judson was a very competitive team as they played seven matches that went five games. In those seven matches, they went 3-4. One of the five-game wins was against St. Francis who was then undefeated in the CCAC and finished second in the CCAC. They also took one game from nationally ranked Olivet Nazarene in their CCAC contest falling, 3-1. Judson also played four nationally ranked teams. Three of the teams were NCAA Division III in #8 Carthage College, #20 Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and #21 Gustavus Adolphus and they also played #13 Olivet Nazarene twice.

Finishing Strong
Judson finished off their 2009 season much like their 2008 season with a win over Trinity Christian. Judson took Trinity Christian, 3-0, in the final match of the season in the pool play tournament of the CCAC Tournament. Judson fell to Trinity Christian to end the regular season, 3-1, as Trinity Christian finished tied for fourth in the CCAC and Judson was seventh. Judson finished the 2008 season with a 3-2 win over Trintiy Christian to mirror the 2009 finish.
 
Leganski's Career
Deb Leganski will go down as one of the top Judson volleyball players ever for her play. She finished her career as the all-time digs leader with 2,681 at Judson and also holds the digs per game record at 5.74 per game. She is also third all-time in serving aces (181) and seventh in games played (467). In the single season top 10, she holds the first, second, and third place spots for digs in a season and digs per game. In the NAIA, she finishes in the all-time career top 20 with her 2,681 digs, too.
Earning awards, she was a NCCAA All-American, NCCAA All-Region selection, and three-time All-CCAC member. She has also won numerous player of the week awards.
 
Dull Makes Name for Herself
Danielle Dull had a stellar four-year career at Judson as she put her name in the record books for single season and career records. She is in eight career record categories for top 10. She finished fourth in kills (1164), total attempts (3027), hitting percentage (.276), and total blocks (336). She was second in blocks solo (139), eighth in kills per game (2.65), sixth in block assists (197), and 10th in games played (439). In single season top 10, she was fourth in kills per game (2008 - 3.51), seventh in blocks solo (2007 - 39), ninth in total blocks (2006 - 106), and 11th in total attempts (2008 - 1089). Earning several awards, she was a two-time All-CCAC and NCCAA All-Region selection. She was on the All-CCAC first team in 2008.
 
Single Season Top 10
Deb Leganski and Carissa Oelke both put their names in the single season top 10 list for their play. Leganski finished the 2009 season second in digs (713) and third in digs per game (5.99). Oelke ended up second for total attempts (1288) and ninth in kills per game (3.28).
 
Career Top 10

Danielle Dull, Debra Leganski, and Carly Campioni all are in the career top 10 at Judson. Dull leads the way being in eight categories. Dull finished fourth in kills (1164), total attempts (3027), hitting percentage (.276), and total blocks (336). She was second in blocks solo (139), eighth in kills per game (2.65), sixth in block assists (197), and 10th in games played (439).

Leganski is the all-time leader in digs (2681) and digs per game (5.74). She also is third in serving aces (181). Campioni is fourth in assists (2522) and third in assists per game (8.87).

CCAC Awards
Judson received two CCAC awards as Deb Leganski and Carissa Oelke earned the awards. Leganski was voted onto the All-CCAC first-team was Oelke was a honorable mention selection.
Oelke was the only player to be voted the CCAC Player of the week. She earned the award once.
 
NCCAA National Player of the Week
Carissa Oelke earned the NCCAA National Player of the Week award, twice. She was named the winner once in September and once in October for her play.
 
In the CCAC

Judson had three players ranked in the top 10 of CCAC categories. Deb Leganski was 1st in digs with 5.99 per game. Carissa Oelke finished fourth in kills per game at 3.28 per game and Carly Campioni was sixth in assists (7.86 per game).

In the NAIA
Deb Leganski was the only player from Judosn in the NAIA top 25. She was 10th in digs per game (5.99) and 24th in digs (713).
