Rachael Dean represented Judson University in the 3000m race at the Chicagoland's. This meet was by far the most challenging meet of Rachael's young college career. Featured were several NCAA DI and II universities as well as CCAC universities. "Rachael was so much fun to watch as she fought for the lead throughout the race. In lap 13 of the 15 lap race Rachael held the lead for the last time finishing the race in 3rd in a school record 10:50." states Coach Rich Weinhandl.
Chicagolands - Men's meet at University of Chicago
Bisrat Kidane, Josh Angliss and Andy Anderson represented Judson University in the Chicagolands. A meet which featured Chicago area university and colleges. NCAA DI, II and III as well as NAIA competition made this meet a very challenging one for Judson athletes. Bisrat competed in the 55m hurdles (10.14), 200m dash (27.76) and the 400m dash (62.77). Josh competed in the long jump (5.27m or 17' 3 1/2"). Andy competed in the 800m dash (2:18.17 PR) and mile run (5:21.64 PR). "These men have been working very hard over the winter months and I know they were very eager to get their first races under their belt. For Andy, he stepped it up in his second college meet to double in the 800 and mile. He is proving to be a competitive fighter" says Coach Weinhandl.
