NCCAA National Tournament - Women's Soccer

The Judson University women's soccer program has played in four NCCAA National Tournaments in 1997, 1999, 2006, and 2009.  Judson's best finish came in 2009 with a third place finish.


 
 

1997

NCCAA National Tournament

12-11

Judson went to their first national tournament and made their first post-season appearance in just their fifth season of the program. They finished 5th in the nation at the NCAA National Tournament and had an overall record of 12-11. Judson defeated Simpson and Bartlesville Wesleyan to go 2-1. Steve Jones was the head coach.

 
 

1999

NCCAA National Tournament

7-6-1

Judson made their second appearnace in three years at the NCCAA National Tournament. They finished eighth under first-year coach Marcelo Galvo.

 

2006

NCCAA National Tournament

15-7-1

NCCAA All-Region: Samantha Vestal, Christina Thornton, Emma Mugg

Making their third appearance at the NCCAA National Tournament, Judson finished in ninth place. It was Judson's best season for the program with a school record 15 wins. Freddie King was in his fourth year as the head coach.

NCCAA All-Region: Christina Thornton, Lynsey McFarland, Kamila Marchi

Having their best finish at the NCCAA National Tournament, Judson took third place. It was the fourth NCCAA National Tournament for the program. Diego Cevallos was in his second season as the head coach. Judson defeated Grace College and Covenant College for the third place fi nish. Christina Thornton was named to the NCCAA All-Tournament team.
