NCCAA National Tournament - Volleyball

The Judson University volleyball program has played in three NCCAA National Tournaments in 1993, 1994, 1995.

   

1993

NAIA Great Lakes Sectional Champions

NCCAA All-Region: Jennifer Gentry-Salazar, Sherri Johnson, Jennifer Tynis-Alderson 

Judson won their fi rst-ever championship in 1993 by taking the NAIA Great Lakes Sectional Championship. They also received a bid to their fi rst-ever national tournament at the NCCAA where they fi nished fourth. Judson went 3-3 at the tournament with wins over King College, Cedarville, and Lee. Jennifer Gentry-Salazar was named to the NCCAA All-Tournament team and a NCCAA All-American fi rst team. Judson was coached by Karen Swanson.
 

1994

NCCAA All-Region: Susan Boeskool-Miller, Lisa Scott, Stacy Skorik

Judson made it a repeat as the NAIA Great Lakes Sectional Champions and a return trip to the NCCAA National Tournament under Karen Swanson in her third season as head coach. Judson fi nished in fi fth place with a 0-4 record at the tournament. Judson won their second straight NAIA section championship, too.

A third straight appearance took place at the NCCAA National Tournament for Judson in 1995. They also won the NAIA Great Lakes Sectional Championship for a third year in a row. At the NCCAA National Tournament, Judson went 0-4 and was coached by Karen Swanson in her fourth season.
