For the second year in a row, the Judson JUISY awards ceremony took place in the Herrick Chapel on campus on Sunday, April 26th, at 6:30 p.m. Over 500 votes were calculated for the 15 Judson JUISY awards given out as voting took place on-line.  There were 520 votes this year compared to 330 in the inaugural season last year.

The Judson JUISY awards is in its second year at Judson as students are awarded a nice plaque with their picture and the name of Judson JUISY that they won. The Judson JUISY awards are similar to the ESPY's as students, fans, and families voted on-line who they wan to win the award.

This year, both the baseball and softball teams tied for the most awards.  They each won six awards each and both teams had a player for the most awards won.  Zach Williams (baseball) and Virigina McAndrews (softball) each took home two honors each.  Williams won "Male Individual Performance of the Year" and was named Mr. Eagle.  McAndrews took home the "Female Individual Performance of the Year" and was the "Female Newcomer of the Year."

Outside of the Judson JUISY voting, four other awards were given as the athletic coaches and administrators voted on the Judson "Scholar-athletes of the Year" and the "Athletes of the Year." Winning the Judson scholar-athlete of the year awards were junior Lizzy Jacobson (softball) for the women and senior Jacob Bostwick (baseball) for the men. Claiming Judson athletes of the year were junior Christina Thornton (women's soccer) and senior Kevin Fischer (baseball).

Female Breakthrough Athlete of the Year - Carrie Sensor (softball)

Mr. Eagle - Zach Williams (baseball)

Ms. Eagle - Deb Leganski (volleyball)

Coach of the Year - Rich Benjamin (baseball)

Male Team of the Year - Baseball

Female Team of the Year - Softball
