Susan Boeskool Miller


Setting the Judson record for assists, assists per game, and games played in volleyball, Boeskool-Miller was an integral part in three NAIA Great Lake Sectional titles and NCCAA Tournament berths.  Boeskool-Miller finished her career in seven different top 10 categories and was a three-time NCCAA All-Region selection and two-time NAIA All-Sectional team member.

Boeskool-Miller left Judson in 1997 as the all-time leader in assists (5,059), assists per game (9.92), and games played (510). She is also seventh in block assists (192), ninth in total blocks (234), and 10th in digs (1,119) and solo blocks (42).  In single season records, she holds the assist per games average (10.54) from 1993 and assists in a season (1,325) and games played (136) in 1995.  Her name is listed eight other times in single season top 10, too.

Leading her team all four years in assists and assists per game, her four year record at Judson was 85-80.  The four-year letterman helped her team to fourth place at the NCCAA National Tournament in 1993 and two fifth place finishes in 1994 and 1995.  Judson also won the NAIA Great Lakes Sectional title in those three years, also. 

Her freshman year started off with a bang in 1993 as she set the Judson single season record for assists per game at 10.54 and finished second in a single season with 1,275 assists.  She picked up her first awards as a sophomore in 1994 being voted NAIA All-Sectional and NCCAA All-Region.  She led the team in hitting percentage (.288), which is 10th in a single season, assists (1,193), and assists per game (9.70).  The 1995 season marked her finest season at Judson as she set two single season marks in assists (1,325) and games played (136).  The team also won their third straight NAIA Sectional title and went to their third straight NCCAA National Tournament and she received her second straight NAIA All-Sectional and NCCAA All-Region awards.  Her senior year finished with her third straight NCCAA All-Region award as she led the team in hitting percentage (.288), assists (1,266), and assists per game (9.74).

Boeskool-Miller is from Holland, Mich., and now resides in Allegan, Mich.
