Matt Granger

A presence on the field as a four-year letterman for men's soccer, Matt Granger's defense gave Judson 27 shutouts in his career as he earned three NCCAA All-District and two NCCAA All-American awards.  Judson went 54-26-9 in four seasons and played in one NCCAA National Tournament.  Granger becomes the 19th men's soccer player from Judson to enter the athletic hall of fame.

After a 14-6-1 season as a freshman in 1985, Granger earned his first awards in his second season.  He was honored as a NCCAA All-American first-team selection along with being NCCAA and NAIA All-District.  His junior season brought the most wins in his four year career as Judson went 18-5-1 and finished seventh at the NCCAA National Tournament.  He once again was an all-American by the NCCAA making it onto the honorable mention team.  The NCCAA also awarded him as a scholar-athlete and an All-District selection.

In 1988, his team voted him as captain and most valuable player as Judson went 11-9-2.  He also picked up his third NCCAA All-District award.  With his strong academics, Judson voted him as the 1988-89 Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Granger is originally from Wheaton, Ill., and currently resides in Glendale Heights, Ill.
