MARCELO GALVAO '96

Playing from 1992-96, Marcelo Galvao was a member of Judson’s second NCCAA National Tournament Championship team as a freshman in 1992. In 1995 the team won another championship and he was named the Tournament Most Valuable Player, one of just five Judson players to ever receive that honor. He was also named NCCAA Player of the Year and a NAIA All-American that season. Galvao earned NCCAA All-American recognition three times and was named to the NCCAA All-Tournament Team twice. A three-time NIIC All-Conference selection and Conference Player of the Year as a senior, Galvao holds the program’s record for most career points with 231. He scored 78 career goals and dished out 75 career assists in his four-year career. Galvao was Judson's 1995-96 Male Athlete of the Year.
