Each year that Becky Stenning coaches for Judson University, her program improves. Entering her sixth season as the head coach, the all-time wins leader for Judson will be vying for the programs first-ever CCAC Championship and a berth into the NAIA National Tournament.
 

In five years leading the program, Stenning has guided Judson to 97 wins to become the all-time wins leader. In the past two seasons, she has 20-win seasons (24, 25) and 10 or more wins in the CCAC. In the 2007 and 2008, she took Judson to their first-ever national tournaments in the NCCAA and finished third in 2008. Seven All-CCAC first-team players and six NCCAA All-Americans have all come in five years, too. Judson's first All-American came under Stenning's watch in 2005 as Taylor Hamstra was given the award while also producing their first-ever NAIA All-Region and NFPA All-Region players.

Stenning pushed Judson to their best season, ever, last year with a program best 25 wins and two wins over perennial national power Olivet Nazarene. Judson also won a program best 11 games in the CCAC and advanced the quarterfinals of the CCAC Tournament. She also had five players that were in the top 10 of several categories in the CCAC and three players in the top 30 in the NAIA. For the second year in a row, she produced a CCAC Freshman of the Year (Virginia McAndrews - pitcher) and had three players on the All-CCAC first-team.

In the 2008 season, she guided Judson to a then school record 24 wins on their last game of the season. They finished 24-24 and 10-8 in the CCAC and were ranked as high as third in the region. She also produced their first-ever NAIA All-Region player in Nicole Dimiceli who was also the CCAC Freshman of the Year and All-CCAC first-team. Judson also picked up their first program win over St. Xavier University and finished third at the NCCAA National Tournament.
 
The 2007 season was a stepping stone in theStenning era as the team finished 18-24 and went to the NCCAA National Tournament where they won their first-ever post-season game over Cedarville University, 3-2. She also coached two NCCAA All-Americans and had one all-CCAC First-Team selection.
 
The 2006 season brought a 14-25 record as the team improved upon their record from 2005. Two players were named to the NCCAA All-Region team along with one on the all-CCAC honorable mention team. In 2005, her firstseason,the team won 11 moregames than the previous season andfinishedthird in the CCAC standings.
 
Prior to coming to Judson,Stenning spent seven years at Illinois Wesleyan as an assistant coach and player (1998-2004). In those seven seasons, her teams won 242 games, went to four NCAA Division III National Tournaments, won six CCIW Championships and one NCAA Regional Championship, and finished third in the nation in 2003.
 
She was also a part of four of the best years (2000-03), ever, at Illinois Wesleyan. The first two came as a player (2000, 2001) while the next two were in coaching (2002, 2003). In those four years, Illinois Wesleyan went to four straight NCAA Division III National Tournaments and won 30 or more games in each season. In Stenning's senior year, her team won a program best 39 games.
 
In her three years as an assistant coach, she was a part of a staff the helped the Titans to a third-place finish at the NCAA Division III World Series in 2003, an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2002 and three straight regular-season CCIW championships. The Titans also won the CCIW Tournament Championship in 2002 and 2003. In 2003, the coaching staff earned CCIW Coaching Staff of the Year.
 
Stenning was a four-year player for Illinois Wesleyan from 1998-2001. Her teams made two NCAA Tournament appearances in 2000 and 2001. As a senior, she was a team captain and also received the Gwen Meyer Award for Outstanding Leadership, Sportsmanship and Hard Work. She was on the Dean's List and earned the Order of the Titans Award for Community Service and Leadership.
 
In 2001, Stenning graduated from IWU with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Mathematics. Following graduationshejoined the IWU coaching staff while also completing her Master's Degree at Illinois State University. In 2003, she earned her Master's of Science in Kinesiology and Recreation with a concentration in Athletic Administration and Sports Management.
 
Stenningis also an exercise science professor for Judson and a 1997 graduate of Crete-Monee High School She currently resides in Elgin and has one dog, a golden retriever, Moose.

Laurie McFadden
Assistant Coach- 2nd Season
Laurie McFadden enters her second year under Becky Stenning and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. She came to Judson last year after coaching softball at Marian Catholic in Woodstock, Illinois, the past three years.  In each year as the coach, the team improved their wins.
 
In her first year at Judson, McFadden also was the assistant coach for the men's and women's cross country teams.  In 2008, she was a volunteer assistant coach for the Northern Illinois University women's cross country team. She helped several of the runners improve their times throughout the season as NIU competed at several meets and the MAC and NCAA Division I Regional meets.
 

McFadden is an athlete as she has ran in the Boston Marathon and the Ironman Triathlon. She was a Boston Marathon finisher in 2006 and then finished three Ironman Triathlon competitions in 2003, 2004, and 2006.

She is a graduate of Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiolgy and is currently working on her master's degree in Sports Management from Northern Illinois University.

Manager- 3rd Season
Kaiti Niggemann is in her third season as the manager of the Judson University softball team. She played one season for Judson in 2007 as she had three at-bats in five games played. She is a 2006 graduate of Wauconda High School where she played softball, volleyball, and basketball. She also was a part of the NSC Student Leadership conference and a member of of the Healthy Youth, Snowball, and Varisty Clubs and Youth Alive. She is the daughter of Doug and Gayle Niggemann and is majoring in sports management.
