The new program enjoyed a great second year as both teams broke the program record for wins and picked up national awards.  The men's team won 12 matches and had three players named NCCAA National Players of the Week. After not winning a match in their first season in 2009-10, the women's team won 11 matches to break the program record.  They also had their first-ever CCAC Player of the Week (Kristi Shales) and two NCCAA National Players of the Week.  Playing in the CCAC, they finished 3-3 and won their first-ever CCAC Tournament match over Purdue-Calumet.

"Being able to hire Art Steuber to bring back our tennis program is storybook," comments Director of Athletics Nancy Binger. "Having the best tennis player in Judson's history back to start our program up again is ideal. I know that Art will be passionate to create a respectable and successful program."

Steuber was Judson's Male Athlete of the Year in 1991-92 while being named the NIIC Player of the Year and All-NIIC twice.  The four-year letter winner and most valuable player for the Eagles was also the NCCAA District Player of the Year in his senior season along with being named to the NCCAA and NAIA All-District teams.
