ELGIN, Ill. - Adding to the many awards the Judson University men's soccer team has already achieved this year, Sven Moeller (Germany) was named a NAIA Scholar-Athlete. He is the third player to earn the award for the men's soccer program under Steve Burke.

Moeller, who was an All-CCAC first-team selection, led the team with 11 goals and was second in points with 32. He helped Judson to their fifth CCAC regular season title in six years and to the program's sixth NCCAA National Championship.

To earn the award the athlete has to be nominated by the head coach and the student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. They must also be a junior academically.
 
To be a NCCAA scholar-athlete, you must have a 3.3 grade point average and be a student-athlete.
