ELGIN, Ill. - Heading to their 13^th NCCAA (National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association) National Tournament, Judson University will be the #5 seed in the tournament. Judson has a 26-9 overall record in the NCCAA National Tournament and won five NCCAA National Championships. This appearance will also mark the third time that both the Judson University men's and women's soccer teams will be competing in the tournament at the same time.  They appeared together in the 1997 and 1999 tournaments.

Judson earned the automatic bid to Florida with a 2-0 win over Greenville College in the NCCAA Midwest Regional Championship. This will be Judson's first appearance in the tournament since 2002 when they won the national championship.

In the NCCAA National Tournament, Judson currently has a five-game winning streak. The streak started in 1999 with two straight wins over Christian Heritage (2-1) and then Union College (5-3). They then won all three of their matches in 2002 over Grace College (2-0), Mount Vernon Nazarene (1-0), and Roberts Wesleyan (1-0). Judson has played in eight national championship matches winning five. Judson finished second in the tournament in 1989, 1993, and 1998. They won back-to-back national championships in 1991 and 1992 and then won in 1995, 1997, and 2002.

Steve Burke has the most wins and appearances at a NCCAA National Tournament.

Judson is currently 17-3 and has a chance to win 20 games. In the program's history, there have been 10 20-win seasons all coming under Burke.

Judson will start the tournament on Wednesday, December 2nd, at 6:45 central time vs. NCAA Division II Palm Beach Atlantic. Palm Beach Atlantic is currently 10-5-2.

The teams competing were just recently changed as top seeded Olivet Nazarene bowed out due to illness on the team. Greenville College was added and will be seeded in the top 4 as the #2 seed.  They received this high of a rating due to their longo score.
