ELGIN, Ill. - Kim Peek's career-high 18 points was not enough to help a depleted Judson University (0-2) roster in a 91-47 loss to #17 Aquinas College (3-0). Judson dressed just six players due to injuries and team discipline issues.

Aquinas' offense combined with a stiff defense forced Judson into just shooting 32% with 27 turnovers. Judson shot 20% from three-point range and only 58% from the line. Aquinas finished shooting 50% from the floor, 38% from beyond the arc, and 68% from the stripe. They also out rebounded Judson, 44-29 and had 16 steals.

Peek led Judson with a career-high 18 points as she hit all of the team's three three-pointers. Ima Petion had a career-high 10 points and six rebounds in her second game as an Eagle. Tiana Forrest led Judson with eight rebounds. Aquinas had five players in double figures as Joslyn Narber collected 19 points.

Aquinas took the lead from the beginning with the only tie at two when Petion scored her first basket of the game. Aquinas took a nine-point lead, 21-12, with 12:42 left in the half only to see Judson come within two, 22-20, with 7:09 on the clock. The 8-1 run over five minutes was led by four different players in Rachel McBride, Forrest, Petion, and ShaRhonda Huff. Huff had a layup at the 7:09 mark to come within two. Judson had a chance to tie the game at 22 off a steal but turned the ball right back over to the Saints. Aquinas then went down and hit a three-pointer to put their lead back at five, 25-20. That sparked a 28-7 run in the final six minutes as the Saints had a commanding 23-point lead at the half, 50-27.

Judson could not keep up with the fast paced offense of Aquinas in the second half as the Saints pushed their lead into the 30s and 40s.

Aquinas finished the game scoring 44 points in the paint and had 43 bench points. They also scored 36 points off of the 27 Judson turnovers and had 16 fast break points.
