- Facing a stiff challenge in an exhibition game vs. NCAA Division I Western
Illinois University, Judson University fell to the Leathernecks, 68-30. This was only Judson's second game of the new
season and does not count on their record.
The offense
had a hard time getting started vs. Western Illinois as Judson had only 10
points in the first half. They shot only
11% making two shots from the field.
Judson warmed up in the second half to 29% (8-of-27) and scored 20
points. They finished shooting 22% and
made 55% of their free throws and were 23% from three-point range.
Both Kirstin
Johns and Kim Peek had eight points each to lead Judson. Rachel McBride and Ima Petion both had six
rebounds.
Judson will
host Aquinas College on Thursday, November 12th, at 7:00 p.m. in the
Lindner Fitness Center.
