Judson 3, Trinity Christian 0 - Box

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - Finishing up the 2009 season just like they did in 2008, Judson University took a 3-0 win over Trinity Christian College in the CCAC Tournament.  The Trolls were the #5 seed in the tournament and fell to #8 Judson, 25-20, 25-16, 25-19. This win gave Judson a season record of 8-26.

In the 2008 season, Judson defeated Trinity Christian College in the season finale, 3-2.  Judson did not qualify for the CCAC Tournament last year. 

In this year's CCAC Tournament, Judson fell to #1 Olivet Nazarene and #4 St. Xavier before winning their final match over #5 Trinity Christian.

Carissa Oelke had 12 kills for Judson while Alesha Wyman had 11 and Karissa Groharing had seven. Carly Campioni collected 26 assists while Deb Leganski had 19 digs. Oelke and Campioni also added 11 digs while Tracey Enzenbacher seven.

Judson hit .246 overall and had four serving aces with Leganski and Campioni each collecting two. Their best game was game two hitting .343 with 13 kills.

Judson will miss seniors Deb Leganski, Tracey Enzenbacher, Danielle Dull, and Alesha Wyman as they played their last match as an Eagle.

NOTES: Carissa Oelke finishes with 13 double-doubles on the year...Carly Campioni has six double-doubles...Oelke just finishes outside of the single season top 10 list in kills with 397...she needed seven more kills to move into the top 10 list...Oelke finishes 2nd in the single-season top 10 for attempts with 1288...Deb Leganski finished with 713 digs which is good for 2nd in the single season record list...she now owns the #1, #2, #3, and #7 spots in the single-season top 10 list for digs...Leganksi is 3rd all-time in serving aces (181) at Judson, 1st in digs (2681), and 7th in games played (467)...she holds the top spot by almost more than 1,000 digs...Danielle Dull finishes 4th all-time in career kills at Judson with 1164 and career attempts (3027)...she is also 2nd in block solos (139), 6th in block assists (197), 9th in games played (443), and 4th in total blocks (336)...Carly Campioni stays in 4th all-time at Judson in assists (2523).
