
ELGIN, Ill. - Winning their fifth match in a row with their fifth shutout of the year, Judson University came away with a 3-0 victory over Holy Cross College (2-12-1/1-6). Judson is now 12-1 on the year and 5-1 in the CCAC and has sole possession of first place in the CCAC.
Sven Moeller guided Judson to two of the three goals in the 3-0 win. He collected both of them within the first 10 minutes of the match. Just under a minute into the match, he placed a deflection save from Holy Cross' Damian Marciniak in the back of the net for a 1-0 lead. Marciniak blocked Gustavo Oliveira's shot but Moeller was right there for the score. In the ninth minute, Moeller just placed the ball into the right side of the net beating Marciniak to make it 2-0.
In the second half, Rafa Heck took the penalty kick for Judson in the 64th minute to the left side for a three-goal advantage.

Judson out shot Holy Cross, 28-2, and had 13 corner kicks. Holy Cross did not record a corner kick and did not have a shot until the second half.

Alex Tyton recorded his 11th career shutout at Judson and fifth this season with one save.
