
WINNECONNE, Wisc. - Running with almost 1,000 combined runners for both meets, the Judson University cross country teams ran against a very competitive field at the University of Wisconsin-Osh Kosh Invitational. The women's team finished 23rd out of 34 teams and the men were 28th out of 35 teams as both teams had career days.
With 466 runners for the women, Judson had three runners place in the top half with career times. Rachael Dean finished 85th with a career time of 23:09 in the 6K. Also posting career times were Kim Peek in 115th (23:34), Ana Garcia in 217th (24:36), Kristal Pitts in 238th (24:53), and Abbie Dupont in 274th (25:23). Just off of their career bests were Morgan Kimball in 283rd (25:30) and Sandra Hubbard in 333rd (26:15. Kimball was just one second off her best while Hubbard was three seconds off. Judson finished with 653 points and ahead of 11 other programs.
The men had 500 runners in their field and Judson had two runners place under 300. Nate Nevius was the top runner in the 8K with a career best 26:53 for 239th place. Zach Adams was 296th with a career best of 27:23. Other career bests were Robert Altenburger in 300th (27:24), Tim Cicochon in 398th (28:18), and Kyle Julian in 400th (28:21). Luke Kierys finished 368th with a time of 28:00 and Dakota West was 373rd (28:02). Also finishing with career best times Scott McCracken in 460th (29:14) and Ethan Hahn in 475th (29:32). Judson had 870 points for 28th place out of 35 teams.
