
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - In the first of four matches in two days, Judson University dropped their first two to the University of St. Francis (IN) and Spring Arbor. St. Francis won in three games, 25-21, 25-16, 25-20, and Spring Arbor in four, 25-12, 20-25, 25-19, 26-24.
Overall, Carissa Oelke had 23 kills while Deb Leganski had 47 digs and Carly Campioni added 63 assists.
Against St. Francis, Danielle Dull and Oelke each had seven kills while Kiley Helgerson added six and Alesha Wyman five. Oelke came away with 11 digs as Leganski led the team with 23 and Campioni recorded 26 assists.
In the Spring Arbor match, Oelke led the eam with 16 kills while Dull and Wyman had nine each. Campioni had 37 assists and Leganski provided 24 digs. Tracey Enzenbacher also had nine digs.
Judson will face Marian College and Davenport University on Saturday.
