KENOSHA, Wisc. - Running against NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA programs, Judson University finished in the middle of the pack for both the men's and women's cross country races at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The women's team finished 12 of 21 teams while the men's team was 13 of 19 teams.

The women's team finished with 331 points for 12th place and finished ahead of CCAC teams Trinity Christian, Robert Morris, and Cardinal Stritch. Rachael Dean was the top runner for Judson crossing the line in 32nd place in the 5K run (19:23) and finished ahead of several NCAA Division I runners. Kim Peek followed in 80th (20:21) with Ana Garcia (20:45) in 95th. Finishing in the 100s were Morgan Kimball (106 - 20:58), Kristal Pitts (117 - 21:24), Abbie Dupont (122 - 21:32), Sandra Hubbard (127 - 21:41), Stephanie Belokon (151 - 23:00), and Lisa Rietz (155 - 23:22). There were 176 runners in the women's race.

Nate Nevius led Judson to a 13th place finish with 348 points as Judson came in ahead of Trinity Christian, Robert Morris, and Calumet College in the CCAC. Nevius was 58th in the 8k race out of 193 runners with a time of 27:37 and Zach Adams finished 79th (27:58). Luke Kierys was next to cross the finish line in 106th (28:28) and was followed by Robert Altenburger (107 - 28:31), Kyle Julian (117 - 28:44), Tim Ciochon (119 -28:47), Dakota West (127 - 28:57), Thomas Jarrett (154 - 29:55), Ethan Hahn (156 - 30:28), and Scott McCracken (160 - 30:33).

Judson will head back to Wisconsin next weekend as they will run at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
