Trinity International 1, Judson 0 - Box

Elgin, IL- In a battle of the wills, Judson University (6-3-2/1-2-1) took a tough lose to Trinity International (3-6/1-2), 1-0. Play on a field that was soggy and soft made play rough, slippery and almost dangerous.

After a scoreless first half, with both teams taking limited shots, Lynsey McFarland, Christina Thorton and Ashley Williams led the team with two shots a piece. Goalie Mackenzie Fowler had only 2 saves for the entire game.

Coming off the start of the second half Trinity's Samantha VanDenack put the only goal of the game in the back of the net after taking a pass from Kelly Streekstra. VanDenack led Trinity with Shots on goal.

Judson will take the field again on October 7th against Davenport University at home.
