ELGIN, Ill. - Playing in their first home match in over a month, Judson University (3-14/1-2) fell to Robert Morris University in CCAC play, 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-21). Judson was in each game but could not hold onto the lead.

Judson only hit .095 overall in the match and was led by Carissa Oelke's nine kills. Danielle Dull added eight kills while Karissa Groharing had five kills. Carly Campioni had 25 assists while Deb Leganski piled up nine digs. Dull also had four blocks in the match.

In game one, Judson had a 7-6 lead before Robert Morris took a one-point lead 8-7. Dull then tied the game at eight with one of her eight kills. Robert Morris then scored four of the next five points for a 13-9 advantage. Judson never recovered as the fell, 25-19.

It was a battle in game two as both teams traded punches on the scoreboard. There were nine ties in the game and Judson had a 16-14 lead when Groharing struck down a kill. Two straight kills by Robert Morris tied the match as they made a run with nine straight points for a 23-16 lead. Oelke made ti 24-20 but Robert Morris' Hilary Kluczynski finished the game with a kill to take game two, 25-20.

Six ties within the first 12 points of game three put Judson right within the thick of things. Judson took a 7-6 lead only to see Robert Morris take nine of the next 11 points for a 15-9 lead. Judson fought back to within two, 19-17, on a Courtney Martin service ace but once again Robert Morris continued their scoring streak with three straight points to make it 22-17. Judson would only get within three before the match ended, 25-21.

Judson will travel to Wisconsin on Friday for two matches at Beloit College. They will face Wheaton College at 6:00 p.m. followed by a match vs. Beloit at 8:00 p.m.
