
Dull led Judson with 12 kills while BC’s Hardwood had 15 and Bruxvoort had 10. JU’s Carly Campioni recorded 33 assists while BC’s Ashley Pagel had 38. Leganski recorded 14 digs for JU while Poliquin had 15 for BC.
JU took a quick 2-1 lead in game one on a kill by Dull only to see BC score 12 of the next 14 points to take a 13-4 lead. JU cut it back to seven, 18-11, on a kill by Leganski but wouldn’t get any closer than that as BC won, 30-16.
Once again JU jumped out to a 4-2 lead and then let BC tie the game at four. BC then went on a 15-5 run for a 19-9 advantage. JU came to within eight, 20-12, on another Leganski kill but BC was too strong up front as they finished with a 30-19 win.
Game three was the best game for JU as the fought hard to the end. JU was in a 13-4 deficit early on but eight straight points by JU cut the lead to one, 13-12. Rachel Pope had six of the serving points in the run for JU. JU tied the game at 14 on a Dull kill and took a 16-14 lead on two attack errors by BC. BC came back to take a 17-16 lead only to watch Gagnon tie the game at 17 on a kill. BC went ahead, again 21-18, but the Eagles fought back and tied the game for a fifth time on a Gagnon kill at 22. BC scored four of the next five points for a 26-23 advantage and the took the 30-26 match win.
Judson will now host Illinois Tech in their final home match of the year on Tuesday, October 23rd, at 7;30 p.m.
