
CHICAGO, Ill. - Having a dominating performance over a NCAA Division III program, Judson University (2-1) took a 6-3 match win over Dominican University. Judson started the match by taking all three doubles competitions.
Scottie Patthana (Loas, Vietnam/Elgin CC) and Sonesackit Siripanya (Elgin, IL/Elgin CC) combined to take the first doubles set, 9-7. Both Jesse Perez (Elgin, IL/Elgin Larkin HS) and Adam Westhauser (Hartford, WI/Hartford HS) won the #2 flight, 8-4, and then Thepkaysone Siripanya (Elgin, IL/Elgin CC) and Lucas Prewitt (Springfield, MO/Kickapoo HS) took the #3 doubles, 8-4.
In singles, Patthana (#1), Perez (#3), Prewitt (#5) all won their singles matches. Judson is now 2-1 on the year and will play their final fall match on October 6th in Bourbonnais, Ill., against Olivet Nazarene.
#6 Westhauser (JU) lost to Marco Colapietro (DU), 2-6, 4-6
